Fridges and Freezers
Bow’s Universal Domestic Installs can come to your home and install your brand-new fridge, freezer or fridge-freezer. We can even take away your previous fridge freezer and the packaging for recycling if you would like us to for free. Making the whole process as hassle-free as possible.
You may need to leave the appliance standing before using, depending on the manufacturer guidelines.
Refrigeration
As part of our delivery and installation service, we will:
- Move and position the new fridge you want installing to the room of your choice.
- Connect the appliance to an existing power point
- Ensure it is level. This will reduce vibrations.
- Make sure it is working correctly by putting it through a testing procedure.
Before ordering installation, you should check that:
- There is enough space in your kitchen for the appliance
- Your old appliance has been emptied
It would be very useful to make sure that there is a clear path through to the property for our installation team
American Refrigeration
As part of our service, we will:
- Arrange to discuss the site suitability (we may need to visit if necessary)
- Install your new fridge in your kitchen
- Connect it to an exisiting power point.
- Connect it to the water supply (so it can make ice!)
- Make sure it’s level to cut down on vibrations
- Test everything
Before ordering installation, you should check that
- There is enough space in your kitchen for the appliance
- There is easy access to a working water supply (for the ice making machine)
- The stop valve (that controls the cold water supply) is no more than 1 metre away from the fridge
- Your old appliance has been emptied
It’s also a good idea to make sure that there is a clear path through your home for our Installation team.
